Did you know that it takes around 40 gallons of sap to make a single gallon of maple syrup? It’s true!
At Thompsontown Maple Products, maple syrup is our passion and we are always excited to share with you our process.
We are a small, family-owned and operated business. During maple season we are often running between the sugar camp and the maple forests. If you would like to tour the sugar camp or purchase product directly from us at the camp, the best option would be to stop by during Maple Weekend.
Maple Weekend is on Saturday April 2 and Sunday April 3rd and it is a weekend when over 30 maple sugar camps throughout the province will be opening their camps up to the public. Plan your route and have a road trip! We will be open from 10am to 3pm and will have freshly made product, locally made baked goods, and taffy on snow. Stop by to learn how maple syrup is made and to walk the trails that wind through the maple forests of the Thompson Family farm.
